Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Virtual Occupational Therapist to provide educationally related services to students with special needs through a secure telehealth platform. This role focuses on supporting students’ gross and fine motor development to ensure access to and participation in their educational program. Services are provided remotely in collaboration with parents, educators, and other related service providers. This is a remote position; however, candidates must be physically located in California and hold an active California occupational therapy license. Residency in California is required to meet state licensure and contracting requirements.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program.
Eligible for or currently certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Active state licensure for occupational therapy services (Must meet licensing requirements for the state(s) in which students are served; multi-state licensure preferred).
Reliable high-speed internet connection.
Computer or tablet with webcam, microphone, and secure access to teletherapy platforms.
Ability to navigate and utilize digital tools such as video conferencing software, virtual whiteboards, shared document platforms, and electronic documentation systems.
Comments and Other Information
Prior experience delivering occupational therapy via telehealth or strong interest in virtual service delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with remote teams.
