Job Duties:

Coordinates, plans, and organizes information technology project activities using accepted project management methodologies.
Assists in obtaining authorization and commitment and in demonstrating business needs and project feasibility.
Conducts gap analyses to assist in evaluating alternative solutions.
Assists with the development of business cases, project charters, stakeholder analyses, and gap analyses.
Assists in developing and maintaining project plans, project budgets, project schedules, reports, and analyses.
For first year supports PM II's or PM III's in various stages of project life cycle.
Reports to PM III for training and assigned work

You have general project or process management experience.
You have experience coordinating, planning and organizing project activities.
You have the skill to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
You have strong communication skills, both written and oral. Communicating ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You currently have a Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) certification.
You have knowledge of project management theories and practices.
You have knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, regulations, and statutes relevant to the administration of projects.
You have knowledge of agency and departmental organizational structure, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
You have knowledge of current information systems technologies, practices, and procedures.
You have experience in the use of project management computer software.
