THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania liquor Control Board (PLCB) has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Repairman 2 in facilities infrastructure and maintenance. This position performs skilled work in a variety of trades in order to prepare, repair, and maintain assigned region, of the Bureau of Store Infrastructure Development. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will work independently as well as assist other workers within the PLCB. The incumbent will be responsible for the design and subsequent construction and finishing of a variety of custom furniture, cabinets, display cases, product shelving, and related items for use in stores or in various offices throughout the agency. Incumbents may work individually on the entire project or work as a team on small and large projects.Bring your ambition and talents to our team!Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orFour years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.Special Requirement:You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
