THE POSITION
The Licensed Practical Nurse role at South Mountain Restoration Center gives you the chance to make a meaningful difference every day. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position plays an important role in supporting residents in a long term care setting by providing direct care and communication. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will perform the following duties:Resident Care: Provide daily care including assistance with activities of daily living, skin care, meals, and routine tasksClinical Support: Record vital signs and resident responses, follow medication policies, and carry out physicians orders accuratelyCommunication: Share important resident information with the nursing team and use clear and respectful communication techniquesSafety Practices: Follow infection control steps, use proper equipment, and maintain awareness of safety and security proceduresTeamwork: Work under supervision, assist coworkers, and respond to direction in a positive and flexible mannerInterested in learning more? Additional details regarding the duties of this position may be found in the position description.Work hours and additional information:Full-time employment.Work hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, 30-minute lunch), or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, no lunch). Rotating on and off duty days including weekends and holidays. Overtime and travel as needed.The Department of Human Services provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement.FREE PARKING!Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $68,914 (before taxes).You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
