Overview

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST TIER II (MIELS):

Bowhead is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist to support the USMC M26 contract in Quantico, VA. Support for the contract will consist of program management; logistics; asset management; engineering; customer service; research and development of new capabilities; test and evaluation; manpower, training, and personnel; new equipment fielding and training; financial management; information assurance; cybersecurity; and 24X7 enterprise services operations and sustainment.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate understanding of knowledge management principles and capacity to deliver knowledge management programs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical.

Perform requirements analysis.

Excellent facilitation skills.

Manage and maintain web portals and applications supporting MCISRE operations across all security domains to include access and entitlements to multiple applications and websites, including MKG, PRESS, Joint Entitlements Management System, iSToRE, and Intel Division.

Responsible for performing a wide range of analytical and access related tasks, including permissions management, site navigation management, metrics collection and analysis, page, and design changes, and troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

BA/S in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.

Five (5+) years of direct knowledge experience.

Maintain IAT I Certification.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts and demonstrable skills in oral and written communications, examples of technical publications / conference presentations may be requested.

Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to develop, deploy, and maintain advanced analytics, and decision-support tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge Management certifications.

ITIL Certification

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

The pay scale for this position is between $150,000 - $180,000.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level with the ability to obtain a Counter Intelligence Polygraph. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
