About our Department:
The General Services Department consists of several divisions in different locations throughout the City. The Facilities Projects Division manages new construction, additions, and alterations of City-owned buildings and parks. The Maintenance Division oversees the maintenance and janitorial services of City-owned structures and properties.
General Services Administrator Position Overview:
This is professional managerial, supervisory, and administrative work assisting the General Services Director in managing, evaluating and directing the administrative and operational functions for the various divisions within the General Services and Fleet Services Departments.
Qualifications and Necessary Special Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education with major course work in Architecture, Building Science, Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management, Public or Business Administration or related field is required.
A minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience is required.
Valid Driver's License
