Job Description

Day-to-day responsibilities of this position: Assist hiring officials through various HR processes, reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance, determining appropriate salaries, and responding to other HR-related inquiries. Conduct payroll processing, including time entries and reporting, while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. Assist with budget processes and oversight, such as budget account setup, running reports, approving payment requests, allocating expenses, and identifying and correcting budget-related errors. Assist with accounts payable responsibilities, such as approving payments in Vantage, processing bulk payments (via Vantage upload), and providing general support. Support administrative functions across the Salt Lake Fiscal section and the state.
