DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be responsible for processing, tracking, and drafting all enforcement actions related to surface mine coal and industrial minerals. Your primary objective will be to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations designed to safeguard both the environment and public health and safety. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in managing treatment trust funds and maintaining accurate data concerning water treatment liabilities. This multifaceted role requires a keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of compliance requirements, as your efforts will directly contribute to the protection of natural resources and the well-being of the community.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Philipsburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
