Torrance State Hospital is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join their team of professionals. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for planning and organizing a comprehensive nutrition care program for consumers at Torrance State Hospital. Your work will involve conducting nutrition assessments, creating discharge planning diets, providing counseling, recording dietary charts, and participating in treatment teams. You will also develop nutrition education programs and continuously review and modify diets to ensure the best health outcomes for consumers. Additionally, you will monitor the general acceptance of the menu by consumers and make necessary adjustments. Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSSpecial Requirement:You must possess certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
