About the Agency
Hudspeth Regional Center is one of five state operated comprehensive regional programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities operated under the administration of the Department of Mental Health, Bureau of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. About the Position
(Morton Group Homes) Teacher Aide position will be accountable for professional program planning and management for a treatment sub-unit or multiple residential locations. Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates individual habilitation or treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Supervises direct care staff. Assists Behavioral Health Specialist in conducting inter-rater reliability. Complies with agency policies and procedures under Department of Mental Health, Bureau of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
What you'll need to be Successful
Great communication skills, management skills, organization skills, ability to multi task, works well with a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires High School Diploma or high school equivalency, and 3-5+ years of experience. May require a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
