Job Description
This position will act as a human resources liaison assigned program areas and youth facilities in an attempt to facilitate staffing and recruitment. The incumbent will be responsible for working within Civil Service rules and regulations to obtain qualified candidates for assigned areas and work with those areas to obtains tart dates for their selected candidates. This will include the creation of job postings, resume review, and the processing of hiring packets. In addition, this position is responsible for a variety of other areas in the office, including but not limited to processing of employee separations, attendance at facility hirings events, management of employee's statuses, and tracking of employees probations and traineeships. This position will include overnight travel every 1-2 months.

Minimum Qualifications:
Transfer: One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or in a title eligible for 70.1 or 52.6 transfer.

Four years of experience performing and supervising the performance of various human resources activities such as staffing services, which consist of recruitment, examination, and placement activities; position classification and compensation; and employee services such as employee benefit, health and safety, employee counseling, and employee recognition. An Associate's Degree may substitute for two years of experience. A Bachelor's Degree may substitute for four years of experience.
