About the Position

Time Limited Position (14) Third-level seasoned Vocational training position accountable for supervising and instructing clients in complex and advanced career or technical occupational skills (e.g. plumbing, welding, carpentry, automotive mechanics, electrical wiring, metalworking, computer repair, food service, cosmetology, etc.). Accountable for preparing reports based on client attendance, performance, progress, and skills assimilation. Employees may also assist in the development, planning and preparation of the course outline and content.
Specific Duties include but not limited to providing quality education to offenders in high demand, modern, relevant training in automotive repair. See Special qualifications for additional details.

What you'll need to be Successful

Must be able to follow MSPB and MDOC policies and procedures, rules and regulations. The ability to adapt quickly, maintain confidentiality, and be a team player.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 3+ years of relevant experience/education and/or relevant certifications/licenses.
