Job Description
Summary
About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama, just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.
Duties
Performs hiring and succession planning for assigned work area.
Executes the full range of personnel performance management to maintain a professional workforce.
Holds discussions with subordinates/team leader personnel.
Confers with authorities of other related activities to assure that functional requirements are being met.
Oversees the analysis of the Depot Maintenance workload that is used as basis for the annual Army Working Capital Fund budget submission through the Major Subordinate Command Life Cycle Management Command and Major Command.
Provides reports and analysis of actual versus programmed depot activities.
Oversees development and execution of the Army Working Capital Fund budget covering multiple years, multiple appropriations, and long range work planning.
Analyzes and interprets program and budget guidance and instructions received from higher echelon to determine impact on the depot budget and annual funding program.
Determines the broad limits of regulations from higher authority and local policy of the installation commander, the organization and division of functions for the organization.
