of the position. The responsibility for ensuring that employees possess the required motor vehicle license, commensurate with the class and type of vehicles theyoperate, rests with the Appointing Authority.

Requirements

SEWER REPAIRER 2 EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in sewer installation or repair work and/or in varied plumbing work and/or in the operation and maintenance of sewer maintenance equipment. LICENSE: Appointees may be required to possess a valid water and/or wastewater operator license of the appropriate class, depending on the permit level of the facility, issued by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. The appointing authority is responsible for the verification of the license.Appointees may be required to possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and applicable endorsements for the class and type of vehicle being operated.WATER REPAIRER 2 EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water mains, pipes, valves, hydrants, and other water service equipment and/or in the operation of water treatment plant apparatus and/or in varied plumbing work. LICENSE: Appointees may be required to possess a valid Public Water Distribution License issued by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. The following depicts the various classes and required licenses: W1 - 101 or more connections and less than 1501 people W2 - 1501 to 15000 people W3 - 15001 to 50000 people W4 - 50001 or more people
