Principal Engineer, Software Engineering

Minimum Qualifications

Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Avionics or Aerospace Engineering or related field and 8 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related role. In the alternative, at least a master's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Avionics or Aerospace Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role would be acceptable. Must possess at least 5 years of experience developing software using any of the high level programming languages in Safety Critical Embedded software development For e.g. C, C++, Python and experience using MATLAB and Simulink as modeling and simulation tools. Must possess at least 5 years of DO-178B/C development experience. Must possess at least 5 years of experience in the Avionics industry. Must possess at least 2 years of experience leading a project.
