Job Description

The LEO Office of Human Resources is looking for a new team member! Come join a group of service minded individuals who support the many bureaus and activities within the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity. This position will serve as a Human Resources Analyst or Specialist performing the full range of labor relations activities.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A strong understanding of the labor relations field.

• Ability to investigate, analyze, interpret, and apply policies, rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to organize and manage deadlines and regularly changing priorities.

This position will have the option for a hybrid schedule with remote work (up to three days per week) with two days a week in the Lansing office, typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional travel or in person work on other days may be required.

This position generally requires the education acquired through the possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Specific information on the education and experience required for different class levels is in the job specifications of the Human Resources Analyst class and the job specifications of the Human Resources Specialist class.
