THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Labor Law Investigator, you will support the enforcement of Pennsylvania labor laws through investigations, education, and collaboration with workers and employers. This involves performing the following duties: Complaint Review: Examine incoming complaints and determine appropriate next stepsGather Evidence: Analyze payroll records, timecards, and related materials for compliance; conduct onsite inspections and interviews to verify potential violationsCommunication: Write letters to and facilitate conferences with claimants and employers to resolve issuesCase Preparation: Prepare detailed reports, maintain case records and summaries, and testify as an expert witness in court when neededPublic Education: Inform contractors, employees, officials, and the public about labor law requirementsInterested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description. Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.Telework: This position is home headquartered. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year of technical investigative or construction and trades experience and a bachelor’s degree; or Two years of technical investigative or construction and trades experience and an associate's degree in a field related to investigative or construction and trades work; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.Additional Requirements:You must possess a
