Job Description

Purpose and Scope:
Responsible for the design, development, implementation and communication of innovative global mobility (relocation, assignments, immigration, etc.) plans, programs, solutions and policies at the corporate and business level to ensure the Company can attract, retain, deploy and redeploy the best talent in the industry.
Essential Responsibilities:
~ Develop, initiate and implement overall Global Mobility strategy and philosophy. ~ Assess current mobility programs, practices and policies alongside the market and market trends; as well as tax, social and legislative changes with the goal of delivering world-class employee experiences and market competitiveness. ~ Direct the planning, development, implementation, administration, strategic planning and budgeting for global mobility programs. ~ Manage the strategic business partnerships, program support and relationship with all external vendors and third parties to deliver quality benefits and services while controlling costs. ~ Consult with the business, various corporate functions and HR to provide advice and guidance on mobility (immigration / relocation / tax) issues. ~ Work with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve mobility programs and processes, as well as developing creative solutions to meet immediate and long-term business objectives. ~ Serve as a resource to employees, managers, HR, Legal, Finance and Payroll for mobility (immigration / relocation / taxation) issues related to mobile employees. ~ Innovate policies and processes to enhance the employee experience and maximize the effectiveness of global mobility programs. ~ Manage the immigration program for locations worldwide. ~ Ensure global compliance with current legislation / regulations. Monitor legislative and law changes affecting this area of responsibilities; and updates plans and plan documents. ~ Manage a team of professionals to deliver a high-quality service, providing direction and oversight for various operational tasks (e.g., program budgeting & total cost reporting, invoicing management, new initiations, and tax related operational processes, including cost estimates, compensation collection, tax accruals and tax equalizations).
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience. 10 + years of Global Mobility experience. Demonstrates knowledge of emerging global markets and market trends, as well a deep understanding of emerging cultural and competitive practices. Demonstrates excellent business judgment and ability to move and evolve with the fast-changing needs of the company. Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and work well under pressure to meet deadlines within short time constraints while maintaining the utmost attention to detail. Ability to navigate the complexities of multiple internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership team with strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of immigration policies and procedures pertaining to work permits, visas and permanent relocations. Knowledge of tax implications for International Assignment Programs & ability to interpret and explain to employees, Human Resource Partners, and managers. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills. Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Work Environment - Normal office environment. It may be necessary to work extended hours. Physical/Mental Demands - Limited physical demands; fast-paced environment often involving multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Compensation Details:
$20,000-$200,000
