Minimum Qualifications

The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions. The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired. Selected candidate will be required to participate in the DMV Pull Notice Program. Applicants must be eligible for appointment (e.g., must take and pass examination); see Who May Apply section below for more information. Foreign Transcript Evaluation (CL-635) Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate: Excellent written/verbal communication, analytic/problem solving, and interpersonal skills; ability to follow verbal/written instructions; flexibility in work assignments; initiative to complete work independently or as part of a team; knowledge in Driver Safety Case Management System (CMS), Microsoft Office, and Outlook applications.
