THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position helps maintain clean, safe, and orderly environments throughout the Selinsgrove Center. The role involves using proper cleaning tools, following safety guidelines, and completing tasks in line with established procedures. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:Facility Cleaning: Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other areas using proper cleaning tools and techniquesEquipment Operation: Use mechanical cleaning equipment safely and store it correctly after useChemical Safety: Select and apply appropriate cleaning products according to guidelines and safety sheetsHazard Removal: Clear entrance areas of snow, ice, and water to prevent accidentsFurniture Movement: Move furniture and equipment as needed to support cleaning tasksSupply Requests: Request and maintain needed cleaning supplies to support daily responsibilitiesInterested in learning more?
