managing Linux systems to help us maintain critical infrastructure used to generate and maintain environmental intelligence and data supporting
fleet
safety.
As a system administrator on our team, you'll help ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Navy
met
eorological and oceanographic data through the maintenance, cyber hardening, and configuration of critical IT systems, in particular to include cross-domain solutions
(
CDS
)
. You'll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication
skills
will come in handy as you turn
met
rics into information and articulate their meaning.
This is an opportunity to gain

You Have:
3+ years of
experience
administering Red Hat Linux Systems in a moderate-to-large enterprise data
center
setting
3+ years of
experience
conducting cybersecurity hardening and system maintenance in accord with Federal or DoW RMF cybersecurity accreditation and authorization requirements
Experience
supporting IT systems in a classified environment
Knowledge of
Apache NiFi, its
sof
tware components, and configuration
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Systems administration
certification
such as COMPTIA Security+ CE

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
