About the Position
*This is a non-state service, time-limited position.* Develop a working knowledge of state statute and department regulations pertaining to the medical cannabis program and any subsequent updates. Develop a thorough understanding of the NIC licensing portal and monitor assigned caseload activity weekly. Develop a thorough understanding of METRC (Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting Compliance) system and monitor assigned caseload activity weekly. Develop an understanding of Out systems, monitor assigned caseload activity weekly, and document all communications and activities for caseload thoroughly. Conduct site visits to assigned caseload to include initial visits, quarterly visits, and other visits as necessary. Crosstrain in all aspects of the medical cannabis program to have a full understanding of the program in its entirety and providing coverage as requested. Follow up on all complaints pertaining to assigned caseload. Communicate regularly with assigned caseload to maintain good working relationships and provide support as needed. Attend local, state, and national gatherings/trainings to enhance professional and programmatic knowledge of the medical cannabis industry (in-person and virtual). Manage MMCP inventory and IT needs. Complete other duties as assigned by the Director.
