THE POSITION
Join Washington County Behavioral Health & Developmental Services as a Children and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) Coordinator to play a key role in our mission of uplifting children and families throughout the county. This position allows you to guide youth through challenging service systems while working closely with dedicated partners across Washington County. This position is responsible for making sure every child receives coordinated care that reflects their unique needs. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will play an important part in coordinating services for children and adolescents who are involved in multiple support systems. Work involves ensuring each youth receives a well-organized plan that reflects their individual needs and supports strong collaboration among agencies. As a CASSP Coordinator, County Mental Health Program Specialist 1, you will perform the following duties:Initial Referral Review: Examine incoming referrals to determine suitability for CASSPInteragency Coordination: Lead meetings that bring together service partners to develop cooperative plans for youthPlan Development: Help create service plans that match the needs of children involved in multiple systemsService Network Support: Maintain working relationships across the county to promote shared decision making and joint planningProgram Guidance: Provide technical assistance to providers and interpret policies and procedures related to service coordinationCommittee Participation: Support committees and groups that meet to strengthen county service planning effortsWork Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work outside of normal scheduled hours including evenings and weekends is required.Telework: You will not have the option to
