Job Description
Position Overview:
The Administrative Professional supports the Human Resources Division by providing clerical assistance, maintaining and organizing HR records, scheduling meetings and interviews, processing mail and communications, and ensuring accurate data entry and records retention. Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential.

What You'll Do:
Your Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Copies, scans, distributes, posts and/or files correspondences, reports, and memos
Prepares various documents (e.g., composes, types, obtains signatures)
Performs routine administrative duties (e. g., composes and responds to routine correspondence and verbal request, maintains calendars for staff)
Types, proofreads, and edits typed documents
Serves as agency's front desk receptionist and answers phone lines and directs callers accordingly
Scans, indexes, and files HR documents into internal or other applicable applications
Interacts with other departments (e.g., setting up meetings and scheduling interviews)
Provides information and compilation of data pulled from OAKS
Receives, sorts, reviews, and distributes all incoming/outgoing mail, correspondence, and directives
Performs general clerical tasks (e.g., orders supplies, inventory control, copies documents and files)
Sets up and maintains (e.g., organizes, alphabetizes and files) correspondences, forms, and reports
Creates new files as needed
Purges records in accordance with applicable retention schedules
Manages appointment schedules, notifies appropriate personnel of schedules and meetings
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science or business office applications. For positions requiring technical terminology, applicants must also have 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in relevant technical terminology.
