This position does not have access to critical infrastructure in accordance with the Governor¿s executive order GA-48.

Job Duties:

This position reports to the Robertson Unit in Abilene, Texas daily.

Duties include:

Conduct criminal and administrative investigations involving TDCJ
Makes arrests
Obtain and execute search/arrest warrants
Testify before a grand jury and criminal court
Collect and properly handle evidence
Serve as a liaison and assist outside law enforcement agencies
Performs other duties necessary as needed but not listed

You¿d be a GOOD fit if you have:

Active Texas Peace Officer License
Pass a physical agility test

You¿d be a GREAT fit if you have:

Experience in investigating major crimes
Interview/Interrogation Skills
Experience with writing and executing warrants
