Job Description
What You'll Do:
Join our team as a key contributor to statewide financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer support. This role offers the opportunity to work with complex financial transactions, collaborate with state agencies, and support critical payment processes. You'll also play an important role in strengthening statewide accounting practices. If you're detail oriented, proactive, and committed to great service, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, reconcile, and prepare complex state agency financial transactions while assisting agencies with inquiries and problem resolution.
Process Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) returns, rejects, recalls, reversals, and forgery requests in coordination with banking partners.
Review, verify, and input complex financial transactions, including EFT cancellations and vendor account corrections.
Research vendor issues related to EFT and check payments and process stop payments across OAKS Financial modules and Treasurer of State payroll systems.

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in accounting, business administration, finance or related field; 24 months experience in government accounting or fiscal position
-Or 24 months experience as State Accounting Financial Analyst 2, 62212.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above. Note: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required government accounting experience reference in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
