Senior Software Engineer - Cloud & B2B Systems Integration.
The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement enterprise‑scale cloud applications and integration services supporting mission‑critical systems. This role requires advanced software engineering skills and extensive experience with B2B data exchange standards such as EDI and HL7. The position focuses on Azure‑based integration development, cloud modernization, and delivery of scalable solutions across complex environments.

Responsibilities
Design and develop cloud-based enterprise applications using Azure and modern integration patterns.
Implement B2B integrations leveraging EDI, HL7, FHIR, and related industry-standard exchange protocols.
Build and maintain API‑driven systems, enterprise messaging pipelines, and cloud‑native integration solutions.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing workflows, and modern DevOps practices.
Modernize legacy applications through refactoring, cloud migration, and hybrid/cloud-native architectures.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to define integration patterns, cloud strategies, and modernization approaches.
Integrate emerging technologies such as AI‑assistive tooling, advanced APIs, and automation services into cloud and integration solutions.

Qualifications
10+ years of professional software development experience
5+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure Logic Apps or comparable cloud integration tools
3+ years of direct experience with Azure cloud development; AWS experience beneficial
Experience with B2B integrations (EDI, HL7, FHIR, XML, structured data formats)
Experience designing or supporting cloud-based systems and integration pipelines
Experience with cloud migration, modernization, or refactoring
Experience with SQL, including experience with relational database development and data modeling
Experience working with Power BI or similar analytics/reporting platforms
Bachelor's degree required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
Preferred:
Experience with TIBCO, MuleSoft, or similar enterprise integration platforms
Experience with SAP HANA
Experience with Node.js, Angular, or React
Experience developing AI-assisted or AI-enhanced application features
Experience with identity/authentication technologies (SSO, SAML, OpenID Connect)
Knowledge of advanced networking concepts (DNS, routing, subnetting)
Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
