Overview
LCU Logistics Specialist (C80-2026-25923)
Bowhead seeks an LCU Logistics Specialist to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division Detachment Norfolk (NSWCCDDN) located at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. The Logistics Specialist provides complex program or financial management support/analyses.
Responsibilities
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Summarize and submit all action items, responsible parties, and estimated completion dates with the Record of Meeting Minutes.
Presenting and discussing the status of LCU tasking and their respective requirements, activities, and concerns and keeping the government informed of any performance issues, cost or financial concerns, and potential problems that, if unresolved, will adversely affect performance, schedule or costs, while working to mitigate adverse impacts.
Developing and providing documentation including but not limited to project, programmatic, financial analysis, tracking, scheduling, and configuration management, which includes gathering, organizing, and compiling pertinent data into spreadsheets, formatting the data, updating, and analyzing the data.
The contractor shall support Government Logistics processes, coordinate transportation and development of logistics documentation to support the implementation of systems logistics strategies and logistics posture.
Provide support to organizing electronic files and documents at NSWCCD. They shall also maintain electronic and paper archives of documents developed for programs/projects, and receive, arrange, store, preserve, and safeguard records and provide reference service for such records.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelors highly desired.
Requires a minimum of two (2+) years of experience in the collection, maintenance and verification of data from diverse sources and in the structuring of fairly complex data analysis plans.
Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
Target salary is $70,000/annually to $80,000/annually commensurate with experience

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
