Summary:
Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a
Public Health Analyst I
to review and identify responsive documents for PII, PHI, and mosaic information that might allow identification or trace-back to an individual patient or the patient's family members or caregivers.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Identify content protected by other FOIA exemptions, primarily Exemption 4 (commercial and proprietary content) and Exemption 5 (pre-decisional and deliberative content).
Identify content and records covered by an Assurance of Confidentiality (AoC).
Identify content, records, and data protected by contracts with commercial parties.
Link a defendable justification to content, records, and/or data requested to be protected.
Collaborate and coordinate with DHQP SMEs and the CDC FOIA Office to resolve FOIA concerns.
Assist the DHQP FOIA Team in addressing and responding to FOIA inquiries and activities.
Participate during CDC response activities and training exercises under direction of the DHQP Team Lead; duties include staffing the EOC desk to help support CDC's mission.

Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of the rules, procedures, and principles that govern intramural and extramural program development, monitoring, and evaluation.
Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).
Excellent judgment and decision-making; capable of working independently with ability to multitask successfully.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges.
Highly organized with great attention to detail.
Demonstrated responsibility and leadership in a public health or related program
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a relevant public health field.
Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree plus 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a relevant public health field.

Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $108,000 annually.
