Job Description
All Hourly positions with the NYS Office of Addiction Services & Supports (OASAS) are utilized on an "as needed" basis, and as such there is no guarantee of work hours or a set schedule. Any/all questions should be directed to recruitment@oasas.ny.gov
Responsible for cleaning an inpatient Addiction Treatment Center (ATC).
Duties include, but are not limited to:
removing garbage; cleaning offices, hallways and common areas; sweeping and mopping floors; cleaning patient bedrooms once vacated; cleaning bathrooms including toilets, showers and sinks; and buffing and waxing floors.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be physically able to perform medium to heavy physical labor and able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions. Candidates with experience in commercial cleaning preferred.
