Job Description
Are you passionate about tennis and eager to pass it on to others? We are seeking motivated tennis players to train as beginner tennis instructors. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to give back to the sport they love.
Dates August 31-December 15Required Education and Experience
• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency; 1 year of experience in recreation, childcare, sports, or related field
• Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted
Successful candidates will be NTRP 3.5 or higher tennis players who effectively communicate with groups of juniors.
ADA and Other Requirements:
Positions in this class typically require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Medium Work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity:
The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed both inside and outside. The worker is exposed to both extreme cold and heat, with temperatures below 32 degrees for periods exceeding one hour and temperatures above 100 degrees for periods exceeding one hour. The worker is subject to noise: There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above the ambient noise level.
