Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME). This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside within driving distance of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. The role requires 10-20% travel, both CONUS and OCONUS. A current Secret clearance is required.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct market research and technical assessments of GOTS/COTS hardware and software
Support the integration, configuration, and testing of hardware and software packages
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including hardware/software lists, system diagrams, and compliance reports
Support system integration, test, and evaluation activities
Ensure compliance with DoD security standards (STIG, ACAS)
Collaborate with program management, engineering teams, and Government stakeholders
Provide technical input for prototype development and system enhancements
What Required Skills You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field
3+ years of experience with technical integration of hardware/software systems
System administration experience (Windows and/or Linux environments)
Experience with GOTS/COTS hardware and software in a DoD environment
Familiarity with DoD security compliance (STIG, ACAS)
Strong technical documentation and communication skills
Ability to travel 10-20% (CONUS/OCONUS)
Current Secret clearance
Must reside within driving distance of APG, MD
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
Experience supporting Army intelligence or counterintelligence programs
Experience with system accreditation and Interim Authority to Test (IATT) processes
Familiarity with biometric, communications, and media exploitation technologies
Prior experience supporting prototype development and integration
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
