Requirements / Qualifications: EXPERIENCE: Successful teaching experience with students who are deaf or have hearing loss. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is required; master’s degree desirable. CREDENTIALS/CERTITICATES/LICENSES: • Education Specialist Instruction Credential or Equivalent, with an authorization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing • EL certification or equivalent such as CLAD, BCLAD, or SDAIE • Applicants who are applying for a valid credential or have not utilized their credentials within the last 39 months of employment in a school district must show verification of meeting the Basic Skills Requirement • Successful candidates will be compliant with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) at the secondary level in Math, Science, English, and Social Science or become compliant within one year of employment. • Valid California Driver's License may be required You must provide copies of permit/credential as required for position or provide evidence of qualifying for required permit/credential with your application materials to qualify for the position.
