About the Agency

MS Adolescent Center (MAC) is an IDD facility operated under the Department of Mental Health. For more information contact HR at 601-823-5700 x 5760.

About the Position

Managerial-level position accountable for the administrative management of a treatment unit. Responsible for setting work schedules, delegating assignments, assigning tasks and evaluating employee performance. Also accountable for establishing employee policies and procedures. Supervises professional staff and supervisors.

What you'll need to be Successful

Ability to set work schedules, delegate assignments, train supervised staff, provide direct care to individuals and the ability to work with team members to reach desired outcomes. The ability to establish employee policies and procedures and ensure policies and procedures are being followed. Ability to evaluate employee performance

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires 5+ years of related experience, and 1-2 years of supervisory experience. May require some college credit by hiring agency and/or a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
