About the Position

Responsible for providing support for all females in Magnolia in the Hillside Unit and for implementing a written training program for each person served, based on their needs, and monitoring their progress monthly by completing progress notes; responsible for in servicing direct care staff on written training programs and ensuring persons served have personal care items in their personal care kits; required to assist with activities in the dorm and monitor programs daily during their floor time; assist feeding persons served daily at meal/snack times and with relieving staff breaks daily; assist with going to Dr. visits with persons served. Direct care experience is required as this position will have to perform direct care duties and assist with the personal care needs of persons served when needed. Other duties as assigned. Schedule is 6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.

Efficient organizational and time management skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Positive work morale. Ability to be flexible in thinking and problem solving. Realistic expectations about the difficulty and challenges of the work. Ability to handle an often-unpredictable work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 2-3 years experience. May require a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
