About the Position

This position is located in the Office of Compulsory School Attendance Enforcement. Duties consist of implementing and ensuring statewide compliance with the Mississippi Compulsory School Attendance Law, dropout prevention efforts, and regulations or policies adopted by the State Board of Education.

What you'll need to be Successful

This position will require exercising a high degree of independent judgment in appraising situations and making decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a Behavioral Science or a related field
or
(3) years of combined experience as a school teacher, school administrator, law enforcement officer, and/or a licensed Social Worker by the State of Mississippi.
*Required by Mississippi Code Annotated (1972), Section 37-13-89.
Licensure: Applicant must possess a valid Driver's License, as verified by the hiring agency.
