PAY Pay Range: 516Hourly Rate: $35.46 - $54.26The normal starting pay for this position is the minimum of the pay range listed above. DEPARTMENTAL INFORMATIONThe SCADA Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the SCADA system, including hardware, software, and IT infrastructure.JOB SUMMARYThis position is located in the Utilities Enterprise System Division of the Utilities Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is under the direction of an immediate supervisor. The position provides unique SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) support and programming for the City of Oklahoma City Utilities Department. A thorough knowledge of computer and networking hardware, software systems and systems design is required prior to obtaining the position. Essential job functions include: performing highly skilled work in the areas of planning, design, implementation, testing, operation, documentation, security, troubleshooting, and hardware/software maintenance of the department's SCADA systems; negotiating and making decisions on behalf of the department as it relates to enforcing the department's SCADA Policies and Procedures; managing SCADA system accounts; performing periodic audits and reviewing the Industrial Control System (ICS) events; implementing a contingency plan for the ICS addressing contingency roles; serving as a technical expert between department and outside vendors and acting as project manager on IT and SCADA related projects. This position utilizes a variety of programs and software applications and is required to maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of current systems and new system applications. VETERANS PREFERENCEHonorably discharged veterans of the United States Active Duty Armed Forces, National Guard, and Reserve Forces who are not currently employed full-time by the City of Oklahoma City and who meet the qualifications for the position shall be given preference.
