Fulton State Hospital is seeking a Research/Data Analyst to provide support to departments, programs and services for clients with mental illness.  Required qualifications include experience in Microsoft Access, including programming knowledge and skill in reading and writing visual basic, Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of research methods including design and controls, evaluation strategy and methodology, and statistical techniques.  Additionally, preference will be given to candidates with experience in Quality Assurance or closely related areas involving The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation standards, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations, performance improvement initiatives, data analysis, incident management, and policy/procedure development and implementation.

Maintaining/creating access databases and/or reports as needed
Auditing multiple data sources for completeness and accuracy which may require some data entry
Creating and analyzing statistical reports for various departments
Staying up-to-date on certain TJC and CMS regulations
Leading and facilitating Root Cause Analysis teams when needed
Other tasks as requested

Typical Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification.  (Substitutions may be allowed.)
