Regulatory Auditor - Field Compliance (Springfield, MO)

As you gain experience, you’ll also gain increasing independence and initiative in the performance of assignments within established policies and procedures.

DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
Independently conduct sales/use/withholding tax audits on Missouri businesses
Assist taxpayers in achieving compliance, as well as an understanding of Missouri tax laws
Assist higher-level staff in conducting audits and independently conducts routine audit assignments

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major specialization (approximately 18-30 semester hours) in accounting (Related professional experience may be considered for substitution)
