Job Description

The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for Schneider Regional Medical Center. This includes posting, screening, interviewing, negotiating, selecting candidates to fill vacancies and ensure that the process is consistent with personnel policies and regulatory standards. This position works collaboratively with the Leadership Team and other stakeholders.  The Recruiter collects and analyzes statistical data and provides reports concerning all aspects of recruitment activities to assess trends, and recommend policies, practices, and programs, where appropriate. The Recruiter examines the financial impact of various endeavors related to filling vacancies and makes recommendations as warranted, pertaining to compensation and salary scales.  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
 • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. 
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. 
• Assists with job posting and advertisement processes. 
• Source candidates using a variety of search methods, to include databases, online forums, social media and job fairs, to build a robust candidate pipeline. 
• Screen candidates by reviewing resumes, credentials, and job applications and performing phone screenings to identify the best applicants. 
• Coordinate, conduct and facilitate panel interviews to select the best candidates for employment or promotion; involves acting as the lead in sharing pertinent HR information relative to benefits and compensation.   
• Facilitate the offer process including extending the offer and negotiating employment terms. 
• Ensure the requisite documentation is issued to all candidates following interviews, including employment offer and declination letters.   
• Prepare routine recruitment related reports to provide up-to-date information on recruitment progress, tracking, and trending statistics.   
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. 
• Participates in job fairs and other recruiting sessions. 
• Assist with initiatives that foster retention and other employee recognition initiatives. 
• Assist with employee inquiries on a wide array of matters as they occur. 
• Perform any other HR related duties as assigned.Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment. Equivalent work experience may be substituted to meet this qualification.  Applicable certifications are preferred. Hazards & Physical Requirements: This work is primarily performed in a sedentary setting and requires some flexibility for walking and or standing for prolonged periods of time.  Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
