Department Overview:

The Quality Department

is responsible for

ensuring compliance with customer, company, regulatory, and FAA requirements while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. As a key member of the team, the Quality Engineer supports product and process quality through the implementation of quality systems, root cause investigations, corrective actions, supplier quality management, and new product introductions. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure quality

objectives

are achieved and sustained. The position

operates

in a dynamic manufacturing environment, balancing office-based activities with

significant time

spent on the production floor supporting inspections, process improvements, problem resolution, and day-to-day operational quality needs.

What You Will Do

Quality Management:

Lead and coordinate quality assurance activities to ensure products and processes meet customer, company, regulatory, and FAA requirements. Develop and

maintain

quality controls, inspection methods, and compliance standards to support product conformity and airworthiness.

Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of Lean Manufacturing principles and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies. Investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and support process optimization efforts across operations.

New Product Introduction (NPI):

Support the implementation and deployment of new products and processes into the manufacturing environment, ensuring operational readiness, quality compliance, and successful production execution.

Supplier Quality & Non-Conformance Management:

Lead the resolution of supplier-related quality issues through the

Non-Conformance

process, ensuring

timely

containment, corrective actions, and long-term improvements.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Coordinate and support direct and indirect teams,

providing

quality leadership and technical guidance while collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other functional groups to achieve business

objectives
.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
.

1-3

years

of

experience as a Quality Engineer
.

Advanced English

proficiency
.

Qualifications We Prefer

Knowledge using Microsoft Office (
PowerPoint
, Excel, Word)

Strong Analysis and interpretation of specifications
.

Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
.

Extensive knowledge of

RCA Tools
.

GD&T Knowledge and experience
.

Ability to coordinate personnel/teams

Experience in an Aerospace Composites
