About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Security Operations & Risk Manager
to lead and support daily cybersecurity operations, including incident response, threat detection, and cloud security governance. This role plays a key part in ensuring the protection of enterprise systems, aligning security initiatives with business objectives, and driving risk and compliance management across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in security operations, cloud security, and risk management, combined with leadership capabilities and the ability to work in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead
daily security operations
, including monitoring, threat detection, and incident response activities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of
security policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
.
Assist in managing
security projects and team members
, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address
security risks and align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives
.
Support and promote
security awareness and training programs
across the organization.
Participate in
security incident investigations, response, and post-incident analysis
.
Evaluate and recommend
security technologies and tools
, with a focus on cloud environments.
Track, maintain, and report on
key security metrics and performance indicators
.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Typically
7+ years of relevant experience
, including
at least 3 years in a similar role
.
Proven experience in
managing security operations and incident response
.
Strong expertise in
security tools, frameworks, and cloud security environments
(AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Solid knowledge of
risk and compliance management frameworks
.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Continuous learner with up-to-date knowledge of
cybersecurity trends and technologies
.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a related field (a plus).
Industry-recognized certifications such as:
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
Experience managing
security programs, cloud security initiatives, and risk governance models
