Job Description
Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for full-time Pediatric Registered Nurse in our PACU / Same Day Surgery Department.

Hours:
Our PACU team enjoys a quality work-life balance. This full-time position will work 10-hour shifts and 80 hours bi-weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you get the opportunity to participate in daily planning via patient rounds. You'll work as part of the interdisciplinary team for the plan of care for our patients.
The PACU Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the recovery room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe after surgery.
The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role and quality improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
BSN degree or in process
Ohio RN License
One year experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit or ICU
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or obtained within one year of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Pediatric experience

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
