About the Position

This is a time limited position (NS-14). Performs certifications for mothers, infants, and children for the WIC Program; assesses and teaches individuals and families about healthy eating for normal nutritional states as well as therapeutic nutrition; refers participants to other needed health programs such as immunization, social services, and early intervention; explains concepts of nutrition, growth and development in relatable ways to participants being served

What you'll need to be Successful

Have knowledge of nutrition, good communication skills, computer knowledge and organized.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant discipline and 0-3 years of experience as a Nutritionist.
