The incumbent in this position will oversee the operations of the Delaware Psychiatric Center treatment units. Responsibilities include conducting rounds on Delaware Psychiatric Center treatment units to assure and enforce adherence to hospital policies/procedures and state and federal regulatory standards; coordinating clinical and administrative activities; responding to medical, psychiatric, and environmental emergencies; and promoting a therapeutic milieu based on the principles of the Recovery Model and Trauma Informed Care.

Provides or evaluates direct nursing care.
Develops, implements and/or reviews nursing care plans.

Maintains an effective working relationship with other members of the treatment team.
Prepares and submits records, reports, evaluations and forms.
Participates in and make recommendations regarding quality assurance activities.
