About the Position
Provides public health nursing services primarily within a county health department clinic under the direction of a County Coordinating Nurse. Duties include conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, providing health education, referring patients to care, conducting disease control activities, performing direct patient care procedures, home visitation, and serving on emergency/disaster response teams.

The applicant will need to have good communication skills, have the ability to multitask, and develop a good rapport with patients and the public.
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires state licensure as a Registered Nurse and 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
