Network Engineer

Job Description

Overview of the Position The Network Engineer provides operational support and monitoring for Cisco, Cisco Meraki, and Microsoft infrastructure products. The incumbent performs routine network administration and assists other IT staff with system administration in a virtualized environment. The incumbent performs network troubleshooting, support, and system maintenance. Duties include hardware installations, firmware updates, system configuration, vulnerability scanning, and security patching. Duties also include collaborating with supervisors, managers, executives, and judges locally as well as at other court units. This is a professional and highly visible position that will provide support to approximately 200 end users in two locations within the D.C. metro area. This position is eligible for regular and recurring telework. The actual amount of telework is based on the suitability of the candidate, the position, and the needs of the court. No relocation expenses will be paid.
