Overview
LMI is seeking an onsite Logistics Specialist at Fort Bragg, NC to support a Department of War mission partner with unit supply operations, property accountability, equipment readiness, and logistics administration.
The ideal candidate is a former U.S. Army Unit Supply Specialist (92Y) who served at the rank of Sergeant (E-5) or above and can independently manage logistics and supply actions in a fast-paced, mission-focused organization.

This position is onsite at Fort Bragg, NC and requires an active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
Manage unit supply and property-accountability activities in accordance with regulations, command policy, and established internal controls.
Maintain accurate records for organizational, installation, durable, expendable, and nonexpendable property.
Prepare, review, process, and track hand receipts, sub-hand receipts, lateral transfers, turn-ins, shortages, adjustment documents, and other property transactions.
Conduct and support cyclic, sensitive-item, change-of-command, and annual inventories; research discrepancies and coordinate corrective action.
Maintain property books, supporting document files, shortage annexes, document registers, due-in and due-out records, and audit-ready transaction histories.
Operate Army logistics and property-accountability systems, including the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army), as required.
Coordinate the receipt, storage, issue, transfer, turn-in, and disposition of equipment and supplies.
Support equipment fielding, new-equipment training, handoff, accountability, and sustainment activities.
Monitor authorized equipment and supply requirements; identify shortages, excesses, serviceability concerns, and emerging logistics risks.
Coordinate with property book officers, supply support activities, maintenance personnel, transportation personnel, contracting staff, and external logistics organizations.
Support statements of charges, financial liability investigations of property loss, and other accountability actions when required.
Develop and maintain supply standard operating procedures, trackers, dashboards, reports, and inspection-ready files.
Advise leadership and supported personnel on property accountability, supply discipline, inventory procedures, and equipment-custody requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Active Secret security clearance.
Former U.S. Army Unit Supply Specialist (MOS 92Y).
Willing to work onsite at Fort Bragg, NC
Prior service at the rank of Sergeant (E-5) or above.
Minimum of four years of Army unit supply, property-accountability, or logistics experience.
Demonstrated experience managing hand receipts, inventories, lateral transfers, turn-ins, shortages, and property-adjustment actions.
Working knowledge of Army property-accountability policies, supply discipline, and audit-readiness requirements.
Hands-on experience using GCSS-Army for supply and property transactions.
Experience maintaining accurate document registers, supporting files, transaction records, and accountability trackers.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to independently prioritize and complete multiple logistics actions in a high-tempo environment.
Ability to work effectively with military personnel, government civilians, contractors, vendors, and logistics organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline.
Graduate of the Army Unit Supply Specialist Advanced Leader Course.
Experience supporting U.S. Special Operations Forces or another operationally focused Army organization.
Experience with property book operations, equipment fielding, sensitive activities, or rapid acquisition organizations.
Experience preparing organizations for command supply discipline, Inspector General, or financial audit inspections.
