Job Description

The Logistics Expediter supports the timely flow of materials by tracking material, maintaining delivery schedules and coordinating closely with vendors, suppliers and internal teams. This role ensures material is received, processed, and delivered on-time, helping to maintain efficient operations and preventing schedule delays.

Responsibilities
Tracks material throughout the supply chain to ensure availability and on-time delivery.
Follows up proactively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve delays and maintain schedule.
Identifies potential schedule risks and escalating issues as needed.
Determines appropriate shipping methods based on procedures and cost effectiveness.
Coordinates shipping, receiving, and delivery of materials and equipment.
Responsible support purchasing activities, including preparing purchase requests, verifying material specifications, and coordinating with buyers to ensure timely procurement.
Ability to verify materials, equipment, and suppliers meet applicable compliance requirements (such as TAA, FCC Section 2, and other program specific requirements.
Performs work under direct supervision, handling routine issues, and referring complex problems to senior personnel.

Qualifications
High school diploma.
Two to four years of experience in logistics, material management, supply chain support, or shipping/receiving.
Strong ability to track materials and maintain schedule commitments.
Experience coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and purchase systems.
U.S. Citizenship required.
