About the team/ Offering
Our IT Outsourcing delivery teams provide reliable, optimized, and secure mission-critical infrastructure services for clients while helping simplify existing technology investments and support modernization initiatives, including cloud transformation. This role supports local infrastructure, telecommunications, servers, and data center operations, serving as a coordination point for service delivery, incident management, infrastructure projects, budget tracking, security compliance, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
Essential Job Functions:
As an IT Infrastructure and Technology Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and optimizing network, telecommunications, server, and data center infrastructure operations, ensuring availability, performance, security, and service continuity. You will lead local infrastructure and telecommunications coordination activities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage incidents and escalations, support infrastructure projects, coordinate with external providers, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT infrastructure services.
Lead and coordinate the local infrastructure and telecommunications team, including telecommunications and data center coordination activities.
Coordinate, monitor, and optimize network, telecommunications, server, and data center infrastructure operations to ensure availability, performance, security, and service continuity.
Prepare capacity, utilization, performance, OPEX/CAPEX consumption, project status, incident, critical event, lessons learned, and escalation reports for clients and stakeholders.
Coordinate and support budget execution, OPEX/CAPEX forecasting, and infrastructure-related financial tracking activities.
Coordinate infrastructure and IT technology projects, including implementation of new solutions, progress tracking, and project status presentations.
Manage escalations and follow up on telecommunications, server, infrastructure, architecture, and IT technology incidents, service requests, and business requirements.
Act as a technical focal point for business areas, local and global support teams, and external providers, ensuring proper coordination and timely resolution of infrastructure-related matters.
Maintain strong knowledge of the client's infrastructure, solutions, and internal processes to support technical decisions and represent client interests with external providers.
Support internal and external audits by collecting, documenting, and delivering required evidence for auditable processes.
Track the application of security patches by local and global support groups and follow up on technical security standards compliance.
Coordinate vulnerability management activities, including periodic scans, reporting, assignment of findings, and follow-up with responsible teams until resolution.
Manage infrastructure risks by identifying, documenting, assigning, and tracking remediation plans according to criticality and required timelines.
Support ITSC/DRP documentation, planning, and delivery for critical applications and key sites in Mexico.
Perform access control reviews for administrator users and application access, coordinating validation with application owners and supporting corrective actions when required.
Support antimalware administration services and other server agent-related activities as required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT coordinator, infrastructure coordinator, telecommunications coordinator, or similar role.
Experience coordinating technical teams of 10 or more people.
Solid knowledge of network infrastructure, telecommunications, servers, and data center operations.
Experience coordinating infrastructure and IT technology projects, including new solution implementations, progress tracking, and status presentations to clients or stakeholders.
Experience managing incidents, escalations, business requirements, and coordination with local teams, global teams, and external providers.
Ability to prepare executive reports related to capacity, utilization, performance, budget consumption, project status, incidents, critical events, and escalations.
Knowledge of infrastructure security, patch management, technical security standards, access control, vulnerability management, and risk management.
Ability to support internal and external audits through documentation, evidence collection, and delivery for auditable processes.
Advanced English proficiency.
Updated Cisco CCNA certification is required.
Strong project coordination capabilities and technical knowledge.
Strong leadership, customer orientation, communication, problem-solving, technical analysis, and collaboration skills.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and supporting client-facing infrastructure services.
